The film stars cast including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
Dune is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States in 3D on October 22, 2021, by Warner Bros. Pictures with a simultaneous release on the HBO Max streaming service for 31 days.
